How To Attain Resilience?
To cope with a tough time, it's important to be resilient—able to bounce back from adversity and keep moving forward.
The ability to persevere through any situation is resilience. When times are tough, it keeps you going. It's what enables you to resolve issues and emerge stronger afterward.
Although building resilience is a talent you can develop over time, there are still certain things you can do on your own right now. These three suggestions:
1) Determine your triggers, first. What causes you to feel frail or exposed? Pay attention to these emotions and how they affect your life; then, do your best to tackle them with the best decisions and humility.
2) Make little goals for yourself each day that will help you become more resilient. For example, take a stroll around the block rather than rushing out for coffee, call a friend, allot 20 minutes at the end of the day for meditation or yoga, etc. Don't wait until everything is ideal before starting because these tiny things add up over time!
3) Find strategies for accepting obstacles. If something seems intimidating or overwhelming, consider taking modest steps in that direction. Face your anxieties head-on and get over them.
4) Hire a consultant for yourself Gone is the time when people used to believe myths about hiring a consultant for consultation. You need to understand if your health is good, you can do wonders. But it is important to check the background of the person whom you choose as your Resilience speaker. Always look for an industry expert.
